New Business:

• Noticing that there is a lot more hate speech among freshman class

• Collab with our overarching DEI group

• Including perspectives about Indigenous people genocide in the curriculum for USH

• Teachers replying to emails in a timely fashion

• Pacing of courses in non-advanced 

Task Group Updates:

• Quizlet Plus is available for all Loomis students – check Daily Bulletin

• STUCO THRIFT STORE ON FRIDAY NIGHT PARTON ROOM

• Grading inequity and teacher feedback

• Lifeguard may not be a CWP position

• Finding open swim times during dive practice

• Met with Ms. Bowen about having earlier QRC times – not working because of lack of volunteers

Updates:

• Nuts in the dining hall --> Cannot do nuts except peanut butter → can cater but can't serve it directly because of allergies 

• Trail mix in dining hall --> Will try and make bowls of trail mix

• Want better granola --> They're working on better granola quality–more granola and dried fruit 

• Quality differences between Lunch + dinners as well as weekend meals --> Has to do with staffing: the lunch team has been here for longer than night, so they have more experience. Working on increasing weekend staffing, but the crew is very small so it's a struggle (15 people on a Tuesday, but 5 people on weekends)
