• Gave a recap of what the student council does and how an idea becomes a project!

• Want to start concrete task groups early on

Concrete groups that we are looking to continue:

• Cell Phone Policy 

• Works closely with Mr Howes (new dean of community life) 

• Building the policy with the students and adminstration 

• Menstrual Products + All Gender Bathrooms 

• Met with Ms. Soja today 

• Looking for the best brand for both cost and quality

• She is totally on board

• Growing off of the GESC project that focused on finding the best quality menstrual products

• Working on creating a map of all-gender housing 

• Community Time

• Addressing how all school meetings feel like a real-life daily bulletin 

• Navigating how community times can be used to grow the community not just gather

• UCNE (United Councils of New England)

• Organizing an interschool meeting with other student councils 

• Sustainability 

• Wants to leverage the impact of the sustainability proposals

• Possibly look into a pledge

• Local Businesses 

• Ensure that clubs and organizations are being utilized by local businesses 

• Gifts for Faculty

• Appreciation gifts for all the faculty who work behind the scenes

• Award similar to teacher of the year but for faculty in general

• FLIK

• Consistent meetings with Mr. Garfield

• Meet the FLIK faculty posters

• Projects that can be achieved in smaller groups (1-3 people)

• Will be worked on outside of student council time
